Premise and first two chapters
Two weeks with a stepfamily he has never met should be awkward at worst, but Brooklyn has turned the visit into a plan before her stepbrother even rings the bell. His father is out of town, so the house belongs to the women: Brooklyn, the woman of the house and a friend who drops by. Brooklyn is clever, composed and certain that men always believe their choices were their own. The newcomer arrives polite and unsuspecting, carrying his bag into a house that already knows more about him than he does about it.
Episode 1 shows the women preparing for his arrival, Brooklyn's private remark that he knows nothing yet, and the heat of his first afternoon. The follow-up brings him to her room with a request for help reaching something high, and Brooklyn tells him to stop overthinking and stay quiet. Their first encounter is short and discreet. How the other two women fit into Brooklyn's plan is left for episode 3.
