My Stepsister Plays Hard To Get follows Cole and Kayla through a week alone while their parents travel. She insists he has no chance; he keeps trying anyway, from a protest rally to a night out. Five episodes in a bickering, playful register, with plenty of insults.
Premise and first two chapters
A week with both parents away puts Cole officially in charge of his stepsister Kayla, who would rather be anywhere else. She spends her mornings at environmental rallies shouting about turtles and her afternoons telling her friend Tess that her stepbrother is a creep with zero appeal. Cole has been told to keep an eye on her and takes the job far too literally. He wants a date; she wants him to stop staring. Underneath the eye-rolling, she admits to Tess that his attention is a little flattering.
The opening episode picks her up from the rally: he honks, she complains, he stares, and a bottle of water ends up all over her shirt, which he blames on a seagull. By the second instalment the battleground is the kitchen. Her mother wants the dishes finished, and he makes her a deal: she loads the dishwasher and he takes her to a beach club that night. She still answers his compliments with groans of disgust, but she asks how she looks. What happens at the beach club is the next test of her resistance.
Episode by episode
Episode 1 free
Plays straight away, even before you make an account. It sets up the people and the problem.
Episode 2 free with account
Costs nothing once a free Candy account exists. It moves the story to the point where the paid part begins.
Episode 3 12 tokens
Paid chapter: the story keeps going from where the last one stopped.
Episode 4 12 tokens
Continues from the previous chapter; it unlocks with tokens or the monthly Premium allowance.
Episode 5 12 tokens
The final chapter, where the question the series opened with gets its answer. It costs 12 tokens.
Seeing My Stepsister Plays Hard To Get in full
The free part covers two of the five chapters. Unlocking the other three takes 36 tokens in all, and that figure is the whole bill for seeing My Stepsister Plays Hard To Get through to its last scene.
Premium comes with 100 tokens a month. At 12 tokens per chapter that is eight episodes, enough to finish this one with tokens left over.
A "full free" copy does not exist in any legitimate form: the episodes live on Candy, and uploads elsewhere are either fakes or someone else's rip.
