Boys Not Allowed builds on a house rule that lasts about twenty minutes: Ava bans her boyfriend from girls' night, falls asleep on the couch, and his stepsister Camilla, Ava's best friend, comes to collect him. Five episodes, staged a few feet from the sleeping girlfriend. Risky, playful and taunting.
Premise and first two chapters
A girls' night with a strict no-men rule sends Ava's boyfriend to the bedroom, and the arrangement collapses once Ava dozes off on the couch. His problem has lasted two years: his girlfriend's best friend is Camilla, his own stepsister, and he has never stopped noticing her. Ava wants an evening with her friends and a partner out of the way. Camilla wants to see how loyal he actually is.
The pilot shows him banished, then caught peeking from the hall when he sneaks out for water. Ava, as usual, is asleep twenty minutes into the film, and Camilla appears at his door to tell him the rule no longer applies. She leads him back toward the living room and promises they will be quiet. In the second episode the test is open: with Ava still sleeping a few feet away, Camilla sits in his lap while another guest watches, scandalized and then intrigued. Ava stirs once and settles again. Camilla offers to take care of him herself, and whether the girlfriend stays asleep is where episode 3 picks up.
