The Groom's Personal Trainer pits a nervous groom against the trainer hired to get him into shape for his wedding photos, who plans to make him cheat first. Five episodes run down the calendar to the ceremony; the tone is daring, sweaty and deliberately risky, with the bride always close.
Premise and first two chapters
A wedding five days away should keep a groom busy with caterers and venues, but his trainer's studio becomes the place he cannot stop thinking about. The venue is in chaos, his mother is fighting with the caterer, and his fiancée hands him the calls. At the studio the trainer insists on exact form, has him take his shirt off for the session and asks whether he is sure he is ready to marry. He wants to look good in the photos and stay faithful. She wants the opposite and makes no secret of it.
Episode 1 is the first session, a warm-up that ends with her asking him back the next day, alone. The second episode finds him returning with a lie told to his fiancée about where he is. The trainer orders him to undress, and he keeps counting the four days left until the ceremony. Then his fiancée knocks and calls for him through the door; the trainer tells him it is locked and asks for exactly the risk he fears. Whether the bride walks away from that door without suspicion is left for episode 3.
