Camp Rules casts a married couple, Diana and her husband, at a lakeside campground they believed was meant for families. Their neighbours on the next pitch know the local customs far better, and over five episodes Diana proves a quicker study than her husband. Comic, sly, built on double meanings.
Premise and first two chapters
A misread sign sets up the whole weekend. Their friend Brody called the lakeside site a family campground; the gate attendant says the fire is shared, and the couple on the next pitch offer help within minutes. Diana notices how the neighbour's wife looks at her and admits she enjoyed it. He wants an ordinary camping trip with an awning that stays up; Diana wants to learn what the place is really for, and the neighbours want them both around the fire.
Episode 1 runs from arrival to quiet hours: the awning that takes two people, an evening by the shared fire, a barefoot Diana offered warmth, and a parting line from the neighbour's wife saying she would like to watch. The second instalment brings morning banter about trucks and beds, then a sunscreen session in which the neighbour rubs lotion into Diana's back while her husband pretends it is only about sunburn. That night the camp's real rule surfaces, and Diana is asked to show her husband what she has been showing the neighbours. Whether he joins in or packs up is where episode 3 picks up.
