Isabella's Revelation observes Isabella, a deeply religious journalist, whose interview with Manalo, a rock star, shakes the discipline she has built her life on. Premise and first two chapters
A newspaper assignment sends a woman of strict faith into a rock star's hotel suite, and the visit threatens everything she believes. Isabella already suffers from dreams she finds shameful and confesses them to her mother, who tells her evil can only stay where it is invited. Manalo is the musician she has to interview, famous for excess and used to being stared at. He notices that she is different from his usual visitors and pushes to see how far her restraint goes. She wants the story and her faith intact.
Episode 1 moves from the morning talk with her mother to the hotel, where Manalo dresses in front of her, urges her to stop fighting her feelings and is pushed away at his touch. The second episode begins with Isabella asking forgiveness for letting him go that far. Manalo turns up outside her home demanding that she become his, and she refuses to get into the car. A later scene at his place, where other women are dismissed, hints at his world. Whether Isabella returns to him is the question carried into episode 3.
