My Girlfriend Paid for My Massage turns on an anniversary gift that Camilla has rigged: separate treatment rooms, a form ticked for the full experience, and a wall thin enough to hear through. Ben carries the five episodes, torn between guilt and the fact that she arranged all of it. Playful, mischievous, a little wicked.
Premise and first two chapters
An anniversary spa day goes wrong on purpose. Camilla books what she calls the couples package, and at reception the shared suite is suddenly unavailable, so she and Ben are sent to separate rooms with separate therapists. Ben assumes it is a scheduling mix-up and asks to change it, but the paperwork tells another story: his girlfriend filled in his intake sheet herself. He wants a relaxing afternoon and a clear conscience; she wants him a little jealous and a lot surprised.
The pilot follows Ben from reception to a treatment room where his masseuse reads out the box Camilla ticked, tells him to undress fully, and wants to know what kind of finish he prefers. He protests that he has a partner. In the second episode the masseuse points out that the partner is the one paying, while through the wall Camilla can be heard enjoying the same arrangement and urging her own therapist on so he will hear. Ben stops arguing. What Camilla expects to discuss once they meet again in the lobby is the opening for episode 3.
