My Roommates Are Thirsty! drops a new tenant into a house run by Mona and DarkAngel, two housemates who compete openly for his attention. The five episodes move from a welcome tour to a car wash and a dinner plan that keeps changing hands; the tone is brash, playful and built on rivalry.
Premise and first two chapters
A spare room in a lively shared house turns into a contest the moment its new tenant signs on. Mona accepts him almost before he finishes the interview and calls DarkAngel over to inspect him. DarkAngel has only just moved in herself, after a family blow-up at home, and she has no plan to let Mona claim him first. Both women state the terms out loud: they do not share. The tenant, polite and a little slow on the uptake, is told he will have to pick one, and each of them sets out to make the choice for him.
The pilot is the house tour, ending in DarkAngel's room with a pointed question about whether he has decided. In episode 2 Mona soaps his car in the driveway and invites him for a drive into the hills, a soaked shirt included, until DarkAngel drags him inside to help pick an outfit and then proposes food, dessert first. Mona is left locked out of the car and out of the plan, and how she answers that move is what episode 3 has to settle.
