Your Girlfriend's Younger Sister follows Mila, who keeps her feelings for her sister's boyfriend locked in a journal until he confesses his own. Ten episodes stretch the guilt slowly between two people who started as friends; the register is introspective, romantic and tense, a slow burn more than a fling.
Premise and first two chapters
A journal holds the one confession Mila cannot say aloud: she wants her sister's boyfriend. Her sister trusts her with him completely, which is exactly why the thought frightens her. He has noticed the notebook and suspects it is meant to be noticed. The two of them get along easily, talk about writing and share a closeness her sister seems to lack. Mila wants to protect that friendship and her family. He wants an honest answer, and lets slip that the couple has discussed opening their relationship.
Episode 1 builds toward his confession that one person now fills his thoughts, with Mila trying to cut the conversation short before he names her. In episode 2 he names her anyway. She reminds him whose boyfriend he is and asks him to act like it, but he leads her to his car to talk somewhere quiet, insisting he understands her better than anyone. Both call it wrong, and neither stops. Whether Mila's sister finds out, or the journal finds its way to her, remains open for episode 3.
