Dragon Queen's Dark Desire sets a fantasy court around Colette Ramsey, an engaged heir who must take dragon form to inherit the throne, and the warlock her mother hires to break the curse. Five episodes add helpers and remedies, each more intimate than the last. Playful, overheated fantasy with a wink.
Premise and first two chapters
A curse blocks the transformation that every dragon queen must complete before she can rule. Colette Ramsey is engaged, royal and unable to change shape, and her mother summons a warlock who claims his healing touch can fix her. The examination requires bare skin, since he says the spell cannot be read through fabric. Colette wants the crown and claims to want loyalty to her fiancé; the healer wants the cure to work and finds his patient very distracting; and the cure seems to require more than one participant.
The pilot opens on a guilty embrace, then rewinds to the mother announcing the healer, his first look at Colette's arm and her decision to undress for the exam while asking him to watch. In the second episode the healer admits that he cannot lift the curse alone and takes her to Agatha, who grows the one ingredient that can undo it. Agatha admires royalty openly, and when Colette mentions her fiancé, Agatha proposes a loophole that Colette has never tried. Whether the remedy works, and what it costs her engagement, falls to episode 3.
