The Open House spins a property viewing into a game of hide-and-seek. Ben and Emily, two years into their marriage, love the house, but the agent keeps taking Ben to rooms with locking doors while Emily measures elsewhere. Five episodes, sly and suspenseful, built on near-discoveries.

Premise and first two chapters

A house that a married couple already loves comes with a realtor who has her own idea of what closes the sale. Emily is sure within minutes and goes downstairs with a tape measure. The realtor offers to show Ben the upstairs bedrooms, tells him he can look, and points out the big windows and a door that locks. She asks how long they have been married, hears two years, and wonders aloud whether the honeymoon is over. Emily wants the house; the realtor wants Ben; Ben wants to know whether she does this with every client.

The pilot follows the split tour to a bedroom the realtor says she only shows husbands, where she invites Ben to try the bed. In the second episode Emily finds the door locked and asks why, and the realtor answers that she was only checking the lock. The couple trade floors while the realtor keeps Ben one room away from his wife, until Emily, now upstairs, decides their furniture would fit perfectly. Whether the papers get signed before Emily notices is the question for episode 3.

Episode by episode

Episode 1 free

Plays straight away, even before you make an account. It sets up the people and the problem.

Episode 2 free with account

Costs nothing once a free Candy account exists. It moves the story to the point where the paid part begins.

Episode 3 12 tokens

Continues from the previous chapter; it unlocks with tokens or the monthly Premium allowance.

Episode 4 12 tokens

Paid chapter: the story keeps going from where the last one stopped.

Episode 5 12 tokens

The final chapter, where the question the series opened with gets its answer. It costs 12 tokens.

Seeing The Open House in full

The free part covers two of the five chapters. Unlocking the other three takes 36 tokens in all, and that figure is the whole bill for seeing The Open House through to its last scene.

Premium comes with 100 tokens a month. At 12 tokens per chapter that is eight episodes, enough to finish this one with tokens left over.

A "full free" copy does not exist in any legitimate form: the episodes live on Candy, and uploads elsewhere are either fakes or someone else's rip.

The Open House: quick answers

Is The Open House free?

The start is. The opener needs no sign-up and the second chapter only a free account; past that point every chapter unlocks for 12 tokens, so 36 covers the rest.

How many chapters make up The Open House?

Five in total, each a vertical clip that runs about a minute or two.

Where can I watch The Open House?

On Candy, inside the Candy Shorts section. The buttons on this page open the series there.

Does The Open House show nudity?

The two free chapters let you judge for yourself before paying. How far each series goes varies; Candy keeps its most explicit titles in the separate Spicy section, and this is not one of them.

Can I watch The Open House full for free?

Not legally. The free part stops after episode 2; anything claiming the complete run for free elsewhere is not from Candy.
